Hills and Lakes
The campus of IIT Bombay is one of the most beautiful campus in the world. Nature has bestowed us with two lovely lakes and two hills to make the atmosphere all the more serene and exotic. One of the lakes, Powai, also supplies water to most parts of Bombay. The other lake, Vihar, is surrounded from all sides by the hills, making the sunset the most lovely to watch; while Powai suffices one's eyes' appetite and refreshes the mind by offering the view of the sunrise and the reflections of the changing colours of the sky in water.

Security
IIT Bombay has a large and efficient security force, offering its services to all the buildings, including the residential areas, the gates, et al. Security kiosks are present at accessible distance from all points in the campus.
